This makes a great start to the day or an afternoon pick me up.
1 ripe banana
- ½ cup blueberries
- 1 Tblspn of Chia seeds dissolved in ½ cup water to form a gel
- ½ cup of reduced fat yoghurt (I use Piako yoghurt)
- ½ Tblspn of Sweetree Bee pollen
- 1 Tblspn LSA (ground linseeds, sunflower seeds & almonds)
Instead of the yoghurt above you could use Quark or an unsweetened yoghurt you may just have to add a bit of Sweetree honey to sweeten it depending on your taste)
Blend all together and you have got a refreshing and nourishing smoothie!
