Not only is a carrot smoothie a refreshing way to start the day, it also cleanses and detoxifies the liver.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup natural yoghurt or quark
- 1 apple (peeled, cored & diced)
- 2 whole carrots (cubed into cubes)
- the juice of two oranges
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tsp Sweetree honey
Method
Add all the ingredients to blender and blend. If you feel that it's too thick, then add some orange juice and blend again.
