This is a really easy recipe to make furniture polish.
Ingredients
- 3-4 parts olive oil
- 1 part beeswax
​Method
- Shave the wax to speed up melting, add it to the oil in a graduated bowl to make up the 4 cups.
- Heat bowl over boiling water and stir to mix, this takes about 10 minutes and will set to a quite firm paste.
When applying the polish to the the wood it is best to warm wood if possible, rub on wood as though you are trying to rub it off. Repeat as wood soaks it up. It can be used on pine, natural and stained wood and looks and smells great plus totally friendly to the environment.
